While the hotel boasts a friendly staff, service can be hit-or-miss. Breakfast, core to my travels, didn't quite meet the four-star billing. A commendable variety, yes, but by the last hour, choices dwindled, leaving a less than satisfactory impression. It caters to many events, which sometimes compromises the dining experience. For relaxing drinks, the bar's placement at the entrance to the restaurant made it feel always crowded. I found this setting quite a departure from the serene atmosphere one might expect. For those pondering value versus luxury, you may want to explore accommodation directly within Berlin. The Flora performs adequately for groups, but individuals or couples could find better vibes elsewhere. It's a suitable short-term stay if you manage expectations wisely. In any case, travel safely and enjoy the historical expanse of Central Europe!
